Red Cloud Ranch

While hunting the Red Cloud Ranch you can expect the definite feel of a mid-western style hunt. Properties are located on and six miles north of, the central portion of the Nebraska-Kansas border creating prime habitat for our animals. While hunting three miles of timbered Republican River frontage bordered with croplands consisting of corn, soybeans, alfalfa, triticale, wheat and milo, you feel right at home hunting these lands dominated by whitetail deer, hybrid turkey, and upland birds such as pheasants , dove, and quail. Mixed with the river frontage properties is approximately seven miles of timbered creek bottoms adjacent to cropland fields & CRP grasses that take up many of our leased acres. These tall, thick and dense fields of CRP edging these creek bottoms allow great bedding and sanctuary areas for our bucks to grow old and relax. Our wooded creek bottoms also contain deep cut canyon pockets lined with cedar and hardwood trees to provide great natural cover. Outside of the creek bottoms are also many acres of open country with rolling grass covered prairie where some clients have stated “They feel as if they can see the end of the Earth”. This ranches river frontage is similar to an Iowa or Illinois type hunt environment while the creek bottoms lined with crops and CRP fields feel as if it were a Kansas or South Dakota type environment. This ranch will accommodate six hunters desiring to hunt these acres and book this ranch.
