Hunting at Turkey Creek Ranch is where you find the deepest roots within the Heartland Pride Outfitters Company and foundation as well. We Lodge our hunters in the original, updated and moderated on site farm house where you feel perfectly at home during the duration of your hunt. Your stay is not in a five-star facility but at all times is welcoming and comfortable. This lodge consists of three bedrooms, one shower and restroom, fully supplied kitchen with utensils, washer and dryer, and down home feel. We expect you to feel at home here since this is our home. Our acres within this ranch predominantly consist of wooded creek bottoms alongside many crop fields such as corn, soybean, alfalfa, milo, or wheat. Our wooded creek bottoms also contain deep cut canyon pockets lined with cedar and hardwood trees to provide great natural cover. Outside of the creek bottoms are also many acres of open country with rolling grass covered prairie where some clients have stated “They feel as if they can see the end of the Earth”. This is another ranch leased and owned by Heartland Pride Outfitters that contains numerous acres of upland bird and whitetail abundant CRP fields. As we get further west in Nebraska from the Turkey Creek Ranch on, we start running into a thin, but healthy heard of mule deer as well. We do run some mule deer hunts out of this Ranch and Lodge but tags are limited and on a draw-only basis, which helps mature our mule deer bucks to trophy size. Turkey Creek Ranch and Lodge is capable of accommodating four hunters comfortably who desire to hunt this particular ranch in south-central Nebraska.
