HPO hosts trophy whitetail hunts throughout the archery, muzzleloader, and rifle seasons within Kansas & Nebraska state lines. Our ranches are filled with croplands, CRP fields, wooded creeks and river bottoms, as well as strategically placed food plots & standing crops; all which build large bodied and antlered deer for our clients.
Nebraska is considered one of the nations sleeper states for deer hunting and we really do have it all. We ask our hunters to hold out for whitetail bucks 130″ class or larger because we know this is absolutely available to our clients upon hunting with us. Our Quality Deer Management Program helps us to provide excellent trophy quality on all of our properties year after year.
Kansas is…well, I’m sure you’ve heard lately, one of the nations top states for producing the biggest whitetail bucks in North America. Being born and raised forty minutes north of the Nebraska/Kansas border, we decided to expand south during the 2012 seasons, earning leases on some of the best North-Central/North-West Kansas properties available. We have really been able to put together great things in our neighboring state to the south for our clients.
On an average day hunting whitetails with HPO, you will find yourself in one of our many Darkwoods Blinds, lock-on stands, or ladderstands during the pursuit. Under the right conditions, we will sometimes spot n stalk whitetails as well as stand/blind hunting tactics.
As a part of our HPO management program, we have established a minimum score on our Whitetail Bucks of 130″ gross.
Archery Whitetail Hunts:
Archery season provides some of the best opportunities to harvest a trophy class whitetail.
