ABOUT US

Heartland Pride Outfitters has a long history in South-Central Nebraska and our family has been hunting these lands for over 70 years for trophy mule deer, whitetail, antelope, upland game and wild turkey. Just south of Smithfield, Nebraska (pop. 60) lays Turkey Creek Farms bought by my Great Grandfather Herman Kuck in 1935. This farm has raised four generations of hard working, dedicated farmers and hunters living off of the land. Turkey Creek Ranch currently covers over 4000 acres with vast holdings of wild turkey, mule deer, whitetail and upland game. The original homestead still sits on the Turkey Creek Farms and has been converted into our Turkey Creek Ranch Lodge.....read more.

Trophy Whitetail Hunts

2010 Nebraska Muzzleloader Buck

HPO hosts trophy whitetail hunts throughout the archery, muzzleloader, and rifle seasons within Kansas & Nebraska state lines. Our ranches are filled with croplands, CRP fields, wooded creeks and river bottoms, as well as strategically placed food plots & standing crops; all which build large bodied and antlered deer for our clients. You as a client have the choice to hunt with HPO on either a guided or semi guided turkey hunt with archery or shotgun equipment (crossbows legal).  Either package allows HPO and you as a … [Read More...]

Antelope

While only hosting antelope hunts in Nebraska, pursuing them is something that takes a different breed of hunter.  With Nebraska's speed goat season opening up towards the end of August (around August 20) we are usually hunting in some of the hottest weather Nebraska produces.  This sets the stage for a successful hunt in an outfitter's eyes. HPO will have numerous Darkwoods Blinds, pop up blinds and stands set up over our watering holes during the season and also capitalize on the luxery of having alfalfa fields to hunt over with our antelope clients as well.  During the summer

Trophy Mule Deer

DSC_0024

Nebraska has always been known to carry and hold massive herds of mule deer and quality bucks to go along with. Archery, muzzleloader or rifle hunts are available for mule deer between our Nebraska's Running Water Ranch and our Kansas Ranches.  Either destination between the two states is your best way possible to bag that mature mulie buck you have been looking to take.  Both ranches contain thousands of contiguous acres needed to hold, manage, and grow a healthy and productive mule deer herd. Our typical mule deer hunting strategy between both ranches and states is the original
